How do I check my KEES account? You can access your KEES award information through www.kheaa.com. Select 'Sign In' and enter your user id and password or click on 'Register' to create your user account. That's it!

To login, you will need to register and create a User ID and Password. Click Register Now to go to the new registration page. Schools, Lenders, and other Business Partners: Continue to enter your existing User ID and Password in lower case.
Can you use KEES money out of state?
KEES money may be used for programs outside of Kentucky offered through the Academic Common Market. It cannot be used for other out-of-state programs. As with in-state programs, Kentucky students participating in Academic Common Market must meet the state's guidelines to receive KEES money.

There is no application needed to receive your KEES award. For high school graduates, once your college certifies that you are attending classes, KHEAA will forward your award to your school. Home-schooled and GED students should contact the financial aid office to have the school report your enrollment to KHEAA.

The scholarship would also be considered “last dollar in,” which means that if a student has their tuition, books and fees paid for by other scholarships and grants, the KEES money would return to the state. All students would have to fill out a federal student-aid form known as the FAFSA.
