How do I log into LastPass?

To log in to your online web Vault via the LastPass website, do the following: Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1. Enter your email address and master password, then click Log In. If multifactor authentication is enabled on your account, you will be prompted by your default multifactor option (which can also be changed).

The major concern with this recent move by LastPass is that many customers won't want to pay for a password manager, sending them back to old, insecure methods — reusing passwords, using weak passwords, keeping information saved in obvious places, etc. This would be a security disaster.

How do I use LastPass on my computer?

Hover over the application, then click Launch. Click within the username field of your application, then hold CTRL + ALT + F on your keyboard. Your username and password will be automatically filled in (as well as any other fields and parameters you configured) and log you in to the application.

Can LastPass be hacked? LastPass encrypts information client side and has a zero-knowledge policy, so if anyone does hack into LastPass servers, they will only see encrypted information. The only way for anyone to access your sensitive data is to find out your master password, which can be done in many ways.
