The district-wide student email system is powered by Microsoft Office 365 ([email protected]). This means all communication with the district and the colleges will use this email account. You can find your email address by accessing the Student Information System (SIS).
How do I get a Student ID for LAVC?
Go to the Student Services Center (SSC) Admissions and Records office and change your official LAVC records. After doing that, go to the Business Office (located next to the LAVC bookstore) and pay for a replacement Student ID. Your new data will take 24 hours to be transferred to the Student ID system.
How do I add a class in LAVC?
If you are not able to add a class online or be added through a waitlist before the first day of school, you will need to go to the first class meeting and request permission to add from the instructor. Note: ADD PERMITS no longer exist. If the instructor is willing to add you, they will give you a Permission Number.
