Are Leicestershire libraries open?
We have 17 libraries across the city with free and easy access to books, computers and information. All our facilities are certificated covid-secure. Our libraries will be operating with social distancing measures in place including protective screens, one way systems and social distancing.
How do you order books from the library?
First, google the name of your library and “purchase request” or “suggest a purchase.” Most libraries will have a dedicated form that you can fill out requesting a book be purchased and added to the library's collection.

What tips are open in Leicestershire?
Stapleton Lane, Barwell is open from Wednesday to Sunday, but closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Railway Terrace Loughborough is open Saturday and Sunday only. Wigston Road, Oadby is open from Saturday to Wednesday, but closed Thursdays and Fridays. Granite Way Mountsorrel is open seven days a week.
