Is Plex free?
Our mobile apps (Android and iOS) can be used for free, but have limitations. Until the mobile app is unlocked (through an in-app purchase or a Plex Pass subscription), video and music streamed from a Plex Media Server has a 1 minute limit, and photos will be watermarked.
How do I watch Plex on my TV?
Make sure your TV has an internet connection. Open the Samsung Smart Hub or Samsung App Store, depending on your model, and sign in if necessary. Select recommended apps from the main screen and either browse or search for Plex. Select Install from within the Plex app screen and let the TV install the app.
Is Plex worth the money?
Whether you're a video hoarder with hundreds of movies just begging for a media server, or a casual streamer looking for a different approach, Plex is well worth at least a few hours of your time.
