What is the difference between Green Star and NABERS?
The main difference between the two tools is that Green Star rates the design of the building (both at the conceptual and at the 'as built' stages) and NABERS rates the effectiveness of the operation of the building (after it is built and is operational).
What is a good NABERS rating?
A zero-star rating means the building is performing well below average and has lots of scope for improvement. A six-star rating indicates a market leading performance, with half the greenhouse gas emissions or water use of a five-star building.
