How do I check my policy on Standard Bank?

Did you know? You can easily log your building insurance claims on Insurance Online or via the Standard Bank Banking App. To access the Insurance Online platform, visit www.standardbank.co.za and select 'Insurance Online' from the “Sign in to your accounts” dropdown menu on the right-hand side of the home page.

How do I claim my Standard Bank funeral benefit?

A claim must be submitted within 12 months of the death of the Life Assured. You can claim by: Phoning our Funeral Plan Claims Helpline on 0860 123 999; or. Contacting your nearest Standard Bank branch.

How long does it take for a funeral policy to pay out?

Most policies have the waiting period of about six months, meaning that the policy will only payout if the person has been covered for at least six months.
