Logging in with email and password brings up: Something went wrong. Please try again.

I am unable to log into my account on my Nokia TA-1211, the app has installed and when I try to log in the site commences then it switches to a black screen and the message is the app is stopping . I had the same issue with my LG K42 and found the issue was resolved when I adjusted the setting but I cannot find the correct combination on the Nokia . The phone is operating on Android 11 and the app is 8.6.0
