Who owns USIU-Africa?
USIU-A is governed by a board of trustees composed of seven Americans and four top local chief executives. The 14-member board is chaired by Dr Chandaria (a British citizen) and includes seven Americans, four Kenyans, and two Ghanaians.
How old is USIU?
Founded in 1969, USIU-A is the only university in Kenya with dual accreditation from the United States and Kenya. It has grown to become the largest private secular university in East Africa with a student population of 6,500.
